Bishop Lynch Celebrates 16th Anniversary as Bishop of the Diocese

On Thursday, January 26, 2012, Bishop Lynch celebrated the 16th anniversary of his ordination to the Episcopacy and Installation as the fourth Bishop of the Diocese of St. Petersburg! We continue to pray for his good health and we thank God for placing him with us. We are grateful for his compassion, his wisdom, and his fine leadership as he shepherds the people of God.

Upcoming Annulment Seminars
As an outreach for Catholics Come Home® iniative, the Tribunal for the Diocese of St. Petersburg is conducting a series of seminars throughout the diocese for parishioners interested in obtaining accurate information regarding Church annulments. These presentations will be given by a Judge from the Tribunal and will outline the process for both Formal and Lack of Form cases, as well as dispel myths about annulments and answer questions. Registration is not required.
 

Catholic Days at the Capitol

Join Catholics from across Florida as they gather in Tallahassee for Catholic Days at the Capitol on February 7 - 8, 2012. This annual event gives Catholics a voice in shaping state laws. The program includes a legislative briefing, prescheduled meetings with elected officials, a luncheon with Florida's bishops and legislators, and the Red Mass of the Holy Spirit celebrated by the bishops of Florida. (more...)
