Bishop Parkes is Developing a Mutually Shared Vision for the Diocese Of St. Petersburg
As a continuation of the listening sessions that Bishop Gregory Parkes conducted in 2017, he is currently working with a team to develop a mutually shared vision for the Diocese of St. Petersburg. The team is taking into account feedback that has been received from parishioners, staff, priests and religious, as well as insights from the National Convocation of Catholic Leaders that focused on missionary discipleship and the vision of Pope Francis shared in “The Joy of the Gospel.” The Catholic Leadership Institute is facilitating the process to develop a vision, which is expected to be completed by this summer.
