Protecting Our Families Against PornographyWinning the Battle is a free, one-hour, live webinar designed to help pastors, youth ministers, and parents find victory over pornography for teens and young adults.  It is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  Helping families protect themselves from the evils of pornography is one of our diocesan missions, which is why we conduct Safe Haven Sunday here each year.  The Religious Alliance Against Pornography, with members from the Catholic Church, Orthodox Church, several Protestant Churches, and representatives from the Jewish and Muslim communities, is offering this Webinar as a means to provide solutions to overcoming the threat posed by pornography to families and marriages.  Please share information on this webinar to parishioners, so that they can also participate.  For details and to register, visit www.dosp.org/freedom-from-porn.

Elections Resources for Faithful Citizenship
In keeping with its mission, the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops aims to educate and inform Catholics and provide resources to assist the faithful with their responsibility to participate in political life. To help inform voters before casting their ballots, several resources are available at www.flaccb.org, including an Election and Political Activities Guide, responses to the Candidate Questionnaire Project, and the Presidential Candidate Comparison on issues of importance to Catholics.

How to Prepare for Election Season
Giving public witness to the values of Jesus Christ requires our active participation in the political process. As Americans, we have a serious moral obligation to vote. To help Catholics prepare for election season, Bishop Gregory Parkes has created a one minute video on Faithful Citizenship and is providing a variety of resources to help Catholics in their civic duty. Visit https://www.dosp.org/faithful-citizenship-resources/ for more information.
